Mother blessings

A Mother Blessing is a deeply spiritual and heart-centered ceremony that honors the sacred transition into motherhood. Unlike a traditional baby shower, this gathering is a soulful experience focused on nurturing, uplifting, and preparing the mother-to-be—emotionally, spiritually, and energetically.

Surrounded by her closest loved ones, the mother is held in ceremony, adorned with love, and honored with intentional rituals that weave together wisdom, support, and blessings. Each Mother Blessing is thoughtfully customized by Elisabeth in collaboration with the mama of honor. When you book a ceremony with Elisabeth, it includes:

  • 15 minute consultation call

  • A 1-hour long “Wishes and Worries” session for Mama, to discuss what she wants to be included or omitted from the ceremony. This session is also intended to provide a safe, private space to explore the emotions and thoughts she has about the journey she is embarking on in motherhood.

  • Set-up and breakdown of the ceremony space. Arrival 45 minutes prior to ceremony start, and 20-30 minutes after for breakdown. Elisabeth assists in arranging the circle, however please provide enough seating and space for all guests to fit comfortably.

  • Hand crafted, customized flower crown for the mama (you choose colors!) Specific flower requests may incur additional fee depending on availability, and can include arrangements for the ceremony space.

  • A birthing candle for Mama (flameless or real, up to you!) and candles for each tribe member to keep and light when Mama is in labor.

  • Elisabeth brings all ceremony supplies including but not limited to candles, incense, essential oils, music, foot bath, lotion, flower crown, thread, paper and pencils, art supplies, printed readings. The Mama, host and guests are also very welcome to contribute additional supplies for the altar and ceremony.

  • 60 minute long beautiful, unique blessing ceremony. We can include just about anything you dream up.

  • Includes up to 8 guests plus Mama, however additional guests are welcome at $25/person. Mamas are encouraged to keep the circle intimate, inviting just their closest supports. Men are not included in mother blessings to protect the sacred, feminine energy that makes the ceremony so powerful and transformative. Children are also typically not included, as mother blessings are intended to be a peaceful, reflective space for the mother-to-be with a calm atmosphere.

This is a time to slow down, connect with ancestral wisdom, and step into motherhood feeling deeply supported, seen, and celebrated. Everything, from the carefully chosen supplies to the energy of the space, is curated with intention so that the mother carries this love and strength with her into birth and beyond.

Birth is an opportunity to transcend. To rise above what we are accustomed to, reach deeper inside ourselves than we are familiar with.

Postpartum is not just about the physical recovery from childbirth, it’s about the emotional, mental, and holistic recovery that truly allows a mother to thrive.

Childbirth is an experience in a woman’s life that holds the power to transform her forever. Passing through these powerful gates – in her own way – remembering all the generations of women who walk with her… She is never alone.

Postpartum ceremonies

A Postpartum Ceremony is a deeply nurturing and soul-honoring gathering that celebrates the mother’s transition into her new identity after birth. This ceremony is very similar to a mother blessing that would take place before the baby is born, however it takes place postpartum. This experience is entirely focused on healing, support, and renewal for the mother as she navigates the early postpartum period—emotionally, spiritually, and energetically. Birth is a transformative and intense experience and there are many emotions that come along with it. Mamas need a safe, loving space to talk about this and heal.

Surrounded by her closest loved ones, the mother is held in sacred space, honored for her strength, and showered with love and intentional rituals that provide warmth, grounding, and restoration. Each Postpartum Ceremony is thoughtfully customized by Elisabeth in collaboration with the mother. When you book a ceremony with Elisabeth, it includes:

  • 15-minute consultation call

  • A 1-hour long “Reflections & Renewal” session for Mama, to explore her birth experience, emotions, and what she needs most in this chapter of motherhood. This private conversation offers a safe space for processing, support, and intention-setting.

  • Set-up and breakdown of the ceremony space. Arrival 45 minutes prior to ceremony start, and 20-30 minutes after for breakdown. Elisabeth assists in arranging the space, though hosts should provide comfortable seating for all guests.

  • A hand-crafted, customized flower crown for Mama (you choose the colors!). Special flower requests may incur an additional fee. Floral arrangements for the ceremony space can also be included at additional cost.

  • A postpartum blessing candle for Mama (flameless or real) and candles for each guest to light in her honor at the same time, such as during the evening “witching hour” when baby is usually fussy and Mama needs the energy of her village.

  • A 60-minute intimate, restorative blessing ceremony focused on replenishing the mother’s energy and surrounding her with affirmation, wisdom, and support.

This includes up to 8 guests plus Mama, with additional guests welcome at $25 per person. Mothers are encouraged to keep the circle intimate, inviting only their closest supports. I often find for postpartum circles that an even smaller group is ideal. Men are not included in postpartum ceremonies to protect the sacred feminine energy of this healing space. Children are typically not included (aside from new baby) to maintain a peaceful, uninterrupted atmosphere where Mama can fully immerse herself in the ritual.

This ceremony is a time to pause, receive, and be deeply held—to honor the birth of the mother just as much as the birth of the baby. Every element, from the gentle sensory rituals to the presence of loved ones, is chosen with care to ensure that the mother feels seen, supported, and renewed as she steps forward into this new chapter. The body needs gentle, healing touch and the heart and soul need the tender embrace of beloved friends and family.

I don’t care what kind of birth you have...a homebirth, scheduled cesarean, an epidural hospital birth or if you give birth alone in the woods next to a baby deer. I care that you had options, that you were supported in your choices and that you were respected.

Women’s circles

A women's circle is a sacred gathering where women come together in a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space to connect, share, and empower one another. Rooted in ancient traditions, these circles honor the wisdom, strength, and resilience of women across generations.

The circle itself symbolizes unity and equality — no one is above or below, and each woman’s voice carries equal weight. Whether centered around life transitions, moon phases, healing, or simply cultivating community, a women’s circle invites authenticity, vulnerability, and reflection.

Activities may include guided meditation, journaling, intention setting, sharing stories, ritual, music, or creative expression, all woven together to nurture the soul and foster emotional and spiritual connection.

At its heart, a women’s circle offers belonging — a reminder that none of us are walking life’s path alone.

I lead women’s circles for reasons ranging from special celestial events or lunar phases, to birthdays, divorces, housewarmings, first menstruations, or just as a supportive gathering amongst friends. They are for mothers, daughters, sisters, lovers, friends. They don’t have to mark a significant event to be meaningful.

Women’s circles are flexible and there are lots of activities we can do depending on the purpose we are filling. Regardless, they include:

  • 15 minute consultation call

  • A 30 minute follow up call to discuss the details of the ceremony.

  • Set-up and breakdown of the ceremony space. Arrival 30-45 minutes prior to ceremony start, and 20-30 minutes after for breakdown. Elisabeth assists in arranging the circle, however please provide enough seating and space for all guests to fit comfortably.

  • Elisabeth brings all ceremony supplies including but not limited to candles, incense, essential oils, music, lotion, paper and pencils, art supplies, printed readings. The host and guests are also very welcome to contribute additional supplies for the altar and ceremony. The supplies included will depend on what activities you have selected with Elisabeth for this circle.

  • 60 minute long beautiful, unique blessing ceremony. We can include just about anything you dream up.

  • Includes up to 8 guests plus the guest of honor, however additional guests are welcome at $25/person.

A woman in harmony with her spirit is like a river flowing. She goes where she will without pretense and arrives at her destination prepared to be herself.
